For 25 years, Ross has been at the front-line of private markets development. He has explored the asset-class from a wide-range of perspectives: journalism, advocacy, standards-setting, investor relations and compliance communications.
He has been editor of private equity journal Real Deals; he has been invited to speak on private markets at Oxford Saïd’s Risk Symposium and Harvard’s Private Equity Institute; he has been quoted in the Economist and the Spectator; he has advocated private markets towards EU policy-makers and regulators, and towards international investors and, in every engagement, his ethos is that education, rather than promotion, is the most sustainable path to shared positive outcomes from private markets investment.

Katie Mitchell
Lead architect of the PMC-Q50 and a co-founder of PMC Katie has more than two decades of experience spanning talent, organisational development and capability assessment. She has worked across investment banking, wealth management, private equity and high-growth technology businesses.
Her work has consistently centred on a simple question: how do organisations measure capability in a way that is both practical and meaningful?
Having assessed thousands of professionals across a wide range of industries, Katie recognised that while private markets were becoming increasingly important within wealth management, there was no widely adopted framework for understanding adviser readiness, confidence or practical judgement in this rapidly evolving area.
This insight led to the development of PMC-Q50, a capability assessment designed to move beyond simple knowledge testing.
Today, Katie leads the ongoing development of PMC's capability frameworks, benchmarking methodologies and adviser-readiness programmes.
